Ghanaian Rapper, D-Black Reveals Why He Does ‘Lazy’ Rap

 

Multi award winning Ghanaian Hip Hop rapper Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black has revealed why he stopped doing 'Lazy' rap. 

According to the singer, the days of writing good rap is over because it doesn’t pay.

D-Black revealed that when he started with rap songs, he didn't make much money out of it, but when he dropped his 'Vera' track with less rap verse, everything changed. 

The rapper disclosed this while speaking with Abeiku Santana on his ‘Atuu’ show on UTV. 

According to D-Black, he went to BET with $800, but returned very broke, he however claimed that things changed for him financially when be released his "VERA" song.
