Tiwa Savage Reveals How She Once Hated Her Skin And Wanted To Bleach

 

Popular Nigerian songstress Tiwatope Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage has revealed how she once hated her skin and almost tried bleaching.

Tiwa disclosed this in a recent interview with Big Brother Naija host, Obi Ebuka.


According to the singer, most of her classmates used to make jest of her because of her skin tone when she moved with her mother to London.

She further added that she suffered racist abuses from her friends due to her skin color, this then made her very uncomfortable with her skin.


Tiwa the added that she wanted to bleach her skin because out of shame, but her mom stopped her; this made her dislike her mother for stopping her from trying to bleach her skin.
