Simi Reveals Why Nigerians Should Stop Laying Curses On Children Of Politicians

Nigerian singer and actress, Simisola Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi has given reasons why Nigerians should stop cursing the children of politicians.

According to her, laying curses on them is not good for their mental health.

Simi disclosed this while taking to her Twitter handle.

She wrote;

''I feel like we really shouldn't be raining curses on the children of these people. I understand the agitation and that most of them don't care about us, but the goal is to be better than them and I can't imagine it's good for the mental health of them kids. We can rise above it.''

This is coming after Simi had criticized Desmond Elliot after calling Nigerian youths lazy.

The singer had referred to all politicians as dirty.

Here's what Simi said in a series of tweets;

"Lol. And they say all these things in front of camera. Based on "Nothing go happen".

"Most of these politicians are afraid of accountability, cause they're only there to take advantage of the system and steal OUR money. They're not used to having to answer questions or to actually work. So if we continue to apply pressure, they will either fix up or stop running."

"All of them are dirty. Their hearts are dirty and empty."

"It's really paining me that none of them could straight up defend us. Not one. Is it that when you enter politics, your conscience and integrity will evaporate?"

Simi's journey into music started pretty young as a chorister in church with a brief career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju.
